Earth Engine compatibility

Bring your Earth Engine scripts. Keep the code.

Atlas runs Google Earth Engine Code Editor scripts as they are, with the ee, Map, ui, print and Export globals, and gives you the same maps, numbers and charts, computed on Atlas.
How it works

The same model as Earth Engine, on Atlas’s compute

01

Lazy graphs, like Earth Engine

Every `ee.*` call builds an expression graph. Nothing computes until `getInfo()`, a map tile or a chart asks for it, so one graph serves all three.
02

Compute scoped to the request

A `reduceRegion` at 30 m renders a 30 m grid over the region; a tile renders its own 256 × 256 grid. Sources read only that window from the right overview.
03

Public archives and your data

Landsat, Sentinel-2, NAIP, MODIS and SRTM are read directly from public STAC catalogs. Ingested GeoTIFFs and uploaded tables sit beside them.

Atlas runs Google Earth Engine Code Editor scripts as they are, with the ee, Map, ui, print and Export globals, and gives you the same maps, numbers and charts, computed on Atlas.
// Unchanged Earth Engine Code Editor script var roi = ee.Geometry.Rectangle([126.76, 37.42, 127.18, 37.70]); // Seoul var lst = ee.ImageCollection('MODIS/061/MOD11A2') .filterDate('2025-07-01', '2025-08-31') .select('LST_Day_1km') .mean() .multiply(0.02).subtract(273.15); print('Mean summer LST (°C)', lst.reduceRegion(ee.Reducer.mean(), roi, 1000)); Map.addLayer(lst, {min: 25, max: 45, palette: ['blue', 'yellow', 'red']}, 'LST');
The script is the same one you’d paste into the Code Editor.
What’s supported

The API real scripts use

Checked against real course scripts and lab notebooks, plus their common neighbors.

ee.Image

Band math, masks, normalizedDifference, expression, reduceRegion(s), sampling, reduceToVectors, focal and terrain ops, visualize.

ImageCollection

Filters, map, per-pixel reducers (mean, median, percentiles, linear fit, correlation), mosaic, qualityMosaic, toBands.

Features and geometry

FeatureCollection filters, map, aggregate_*, reduceColumns; buffer, intersection, union, difference and area.

Code Editor

print, Map.addLayer / centerObject, ui.Chart image and feature charts, and Export.* recorded as tasks.

Put a whole city behind one API

Make your first request in a few minutes: search a place, route to it and pull the imagery around it.
