Authentication
Signing in to Atlas with Diplomat user tokens.
Atlas uses Diplomat, the FWD identity service. Send a user token as a bearer header:

Optional auth #
The API runs with auth optional by default: a request without a token is served anonymously, while a token that is present but invalid is always rejected with 401. Operators require tokens by setting ATLAS_AUTH_OPTIONAL=false.
Routes that need you signed in #
Writing to your workspace always needs a valid token: running scripts (POST /ee/run), deleting reports and uploading table assets (PUT /ee/assets). Reports are private to their owner unless created with public: true.
