Atlas documentation
Build on Atlas — basemap tiles, places, routing, satellite imagery, Earth Engine-compatible analysis and digital-twin export, from one HTTP API.
Atlas is a geospatial data platform with an API on top. Places, addresses, roads, buildings, boundaries, transit, terrain, weather and imagery share one data model, so the same request can find a place, route to it and pull the imagery around it.

Getting started
Make your first requests: search, route, tiles and imagery.
Running Earth Engine scripts
Check and run Code Editor scripts on Atlas, unmodified.
Exporting a digital twin
3D Tiles, OpenDRIVE and OpenSCENARIO for a region.
HTTP API reference
Every route, with parameters and examples.
How the pieces fit #
Part
What it does
Data platform
Overture places, addresses, roads, buildings and divisions, GTFS transit, elevation, weather and hazards, per region.
Tiles
Vector (MVT), raster, terrain and imagery tiles in {z}/{x}/{y} paths.
Routing
Drive, walk and bike routing, isochrones and transit planning on Atlas’s own graph.
Analysis
An Earth Engine-compatible runtime that turns scripts into reports with maps and charts.
Export
A region as simulator-ready scene files.
